Two Ideal Vacation Rentals in a Heritage Home. Built in 1909, this historic house is centrally located right above downtown Ketchikan. We have two very large apartments available for rent, a 1.5 bedroom and a 2.5 bedroom. Each has its own private entrance, off street parking, and is completely furnished and self-contained.

Central Location: Your stay at the Heckman House puts you within easy walking distance of museums, Creek Street, Southeast Alaska Visitors Center, the docks, local tours, numerous Alaskan art galleries, charter fishing, sea kayaking, restaurants, and the library, among many other services in the downtown area. Ten minutes away in opposite directions are Saxman village and Totem Bight State Park.

Superb Views: The house has excellent views of the surrounding waters and mountains, cruise ships, fishing boats, float planes and all the action of summer.
We have had guests who rarely left their room but simply watched the action all day long.
